Opening-week checklist for multi-store waves
A practical sequence for the seven days before doors go live—what to lock, what to photograph, and what to leave flexible.
Opening week is where tidy plans meet receiving docks and store managers who already have a full day. Treat the seven days before go-live as a sequence of locks—not a hopeful to-do list.
Seven days out
Confirm door list, set-up windows, and who owns photo proof for each store. If a door cannot receive on your preferred day, move it now rather than discovering the conflict on Tuesday afternoon.
Three days out
Materials should be in transit or already staged. Field supervisors need the final briefing pack: placement rules, sampling limits if any, and escalation contacts that answer the phone.
Opening morning
Keep the checklist short: bay clear, POS up, stock visible, photo sent. Anything longer becomes optional under pressure. Leave one flexible buffer door so a delayed shipment does not collapse the whole wave narrative.
